RUG - Whitehall Recreation Ground Play Area Works

Tender description

Rugby Borough Council are looking for a contractor to carry out hard and soft landscaping to refurbish the existing children's play area at Whitehall Recreation Ground, off Hillmorton Road, Rugby as part of phase 1 improvement works. The works include: - Removal of existing playground fencing, play equipment, site furniture and associated surfaces - Removal of some existing tarmac footpaths / surfaces - Importation of subsoil to form landscape mounds - New permeable tarmac / bound gravel paving, aluminium edging - New play / sports equipment and associated safety surfacing (in-situ wet pour and 'matta' type mats) - Construction of oak post retaining walls for sand pit / raised play platform and installation of timber palisade posts - Installation of new site furniture and relocation of some existing seats / bins - Topsoiling, tree / shrub / hedge planting and turfing / seeding reinstatement works
