Provision of Childcare for 2, 3 and 4 year olds in Nottinghamshire County Council Maintained Properties

Nottinghamshire County Council (the Council) has a duty to ensure that there is sufficient high quality childcare provision within the County to enable parents to access work and training and prepare children for school. The Council also distributes funding for childcare for eligible two, three and four year old children. As part of these duties the Council utilises purpose built childcare accommodation within or attached to its properties or schools throughout the county. Providers from the private, voluntary and independent sector (PVI), Academy Schools and childminders are invited to submit tenders to establish childcare provision within purpose built Council owned and maintained properties, to enable the Council to fulfil its' statutory duties to provide funded childcare and early education for 2, 3 and 4 year olds. The sites are: • Retford Central Children's Centre • Bassetlaw Rural Children's Centre (Misterton) • Bridge Children's Centre, Newark • Sherwood West Children's Centre, Rainworth • Oaktree Children's Centre, Mansfield • Holgate Early Years, Hucknall Open Days have been arranged NEXT WEEK as detailed below: Holgate Early Years Monday 18th June 2018 10am to 2pm Oaktree CC Tuesday 19th June 2018 9.30am to 1.30pm Bassetlaw (Misterton) CC Friday 22nd June 2018 10am to 2pm Open Days for the remaining sites are currently being arranged.
