The works comprise the replacement of the existing metal framed single glazed windows to elevations identified on contract drawing number APM18333-BS-TD-01 with new powder coated double glazed aluminum windows. Carefully and safely strip out existing metal framed glazing and dispose off-site via licensed disposal. Ensure existing heating system and flooring is always protected from damage. Prepare openings to receive new windows. Supply and install purpose-made powder coated aluminium, windows, as per contract drawings, to comprise: - I. Appropriate section Comar 5pi 60mm or similar approved, commercial thermally broken aluminium, white (RAL 9910), semi-gloss powder coated framing system, Include sash restrictor, locking catches and trickle vent, Glazing to be 24mm sealed low 'E' double glazed units with 6.4mm laminated glass. Cavity to be argon filled to BS6206. Internally beaded only, Seal around perimeter frame with Adshead Ratcliffe, Low Module Construction Grade Sealant. Colour white, Allow to make good any disturbed surfaces including any finishes, Allow for appropriate scaffolding, High level clerestory top hung vents and all openers above 1800lm from f.f.l to be operated by Teleflex Clear-Line window winding gear in Hipca white powder coated finish comprising single 250mm vent openers and wall mounted hand operated Midi operator units with white finish conduit and drive cables, All safety glazing to be marked in accordance with B.S 6206:1981 (1994).
