Network Rail seeks expressions of interest from suitable companies in relation to the provision of unmanned aircraft systems (drones) in the following disciplines: 1) Supply as a managed services; 2) Supply aircraft and equipment; 3) Supply pilot training as a service a) Supply complete UAV Inspection and Survey Services for reactive and pre-planned operations The supply of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and ancillary equipment. This is to include the additional services of maintenance and servicing of the equipment. Network Rail is considering the use of 2 or more NQE’s to provide the training of their in house Drone Pilots. There are 2 types of training we require, if there is an NQE that can provide both bespoke areas of training then we may consider one NQE. There is a requirement to provide UAS Pilot training for: Reactive Operational Events and Planned Inspections and Surveys.
