Invitation To Tender for the Supply, Installation and Support of two cassette printers for the Histopathology Department, St James’s Hospital. Cassettes are used in the Histopathology department to Process tissue into wax blocks. The cassettes display patient identifiers which are critical to tracking and tracing of specimens and blocks throughout the department and are also essential for patient and tissue identification, making them critical for patient safety. These cassettes are printed on using specialised cassette printers.
