Tender description

The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) has a requirement to procure a strategic partner to develop, support, maintain and provide services for future development and enhancement of a new Criminal Justice Data Sharing (CJDS) solution. The current data sharing service is a strategically important integrated data sharing messaging system which supports information sharing between the Authority’s case management systems, the five main NI Criminal Justice Organisations (CJOs) via Causeway and the Police National Computer (PNC). It is anticipated that the CJDS Contract will be for a maximum contract period of ten (10) years (plus a development and implementation period). This is likely to be on the basis of an implementation period from the effective date to the operational service commencement date, followed by an initial contract term of five (5) years plus three optional extension periods of two (2) years, two (2) years and one (1) year.
