Tender description

We are seeking expressions of interest from suppliers who can offer pension advice through salary sacrifice. The Northern Care Alliance NHS Group which comprises of four Care Organisations: Oldham, Bury / Rochdale, North Manchester and Salford seeks expressions of interest from appropriately qualified and licenced professionals to provide an independent financial advisory service to members of our workforce through the provision of individual pensions advice. Our employees wish to benefit from the new salary sacrifice arrangements created in the 2017 Finance Act and to arrange to sacrifice up to 500 GBP of their annual salary in respect of obtaining pensions advice. We would expect our employees to agree the sacrifice in advance and the Financial Advisor, or company employing such, to invoice the NCA for advice up to that value with any additional cost being between the individual and the advisor. Including doctors in training we have over 20 000 staff primarily based in Salford and the North East of Manchester including a significant number of high earning staff. We operate NHS Pension schemes so would anticipate advice to include advice on annual and lifetime limits and pension planning in the context of these schemes.
