Tender description

Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking to invite tenders for the undertaking of reactive maintenance works to footways and carriageways throughout the borough. The contract is for an initial period of 6 months with the possibility of extending for a further 6 month period. The successful tenderer will be required to provide 2no, two man gangs, NRSWA qualified together with 7.5t flatbed wagons, roller and all necessary tools and equipment. The crews will be working from the Engineering Services Depot at Tame Street, Stalybridge. All materials will be supplied by Tameside MBC. The successful tenderer will act as a sub-contractor to Tameside MBC Engineering Services who is the Principal Contractor for the works. The contract is anticipated to start on early August 2018.
