Tender description

In the next few months, Liverpool City Council will be seeking tender submissions for the provision of a range of Rehabilitation and Recovery services for people with substance misuse issues. After considerable market, stakeholder and service user engagement we have now developed a service model for this project as follows: Service Type Volume Description. Community Day Services Minimum of 72 units Community day rehabilitation services delivering an 11-12 week programme. Residential Rehabilitation service Minimum of 30 units Residential service delivering a 12 week programme. Step down from rehab / supported housing Minimum of 12 units Abstinence based accommodation service with length of stay not expected to exceed 26 weeks. Harm reduction accommodation based service – female only Minimum of 8 units. We will be seeking suppliers to provide accommodation / buildings as part of their offer, either as an integrated package or in partnership. It is our intention to tender these services in July. Should any interested provider wish to comment on the proposals in advance of the formal tender process, we would be happy to receive comments and feedback with regards to the proposed services and volumes. All services will provide pre and post engagement support to engage service users with the service prior to admission and support them on leaving the service. We have also identified that It will be essential to have a clear pathway for people using these services to ensure that service users are able to access the best service for them with a clear assessment process to determine which service is most appropriate to meet the service user’s needs.
