The framework will provide the following business objectives for an Employee assistance programme: — to maintain a healthy and productive workforce in a cost-effective and proactive manner, — support the management of absence, — to facilitate an employer duty of care to staff and their dependants, — to provide the resources to inform and assist Employees in their everyday life, — to minimise corporate risk; and to understand and actively improve the outcomes gained by accessing EAP.
