Tender description

HMRC is acting as a training provider for apprentices to deliver education and training for the Level 4 Professional Accounting/Taxation Technician Apprenticeship and is on the Education and Skills Funding Agency register of apprenticeship training providers (RoATP) under UKPRN Nº 10012772. HMRC’s Tax Academy, as training provider, require the services of an End Point Assessor who will support them in the assessment of the Level 4 Professional Accounting / Taxation Technician Apprenticeship. Prior to assessments HMRC will require to develop and adapt the EPAO’s existing summative case study, so that it reflects the work undertaken by tax professionals within HMRC. This bespoke EPA will still map to the apprenticeship standards and test the requisite level of knowledge, skills and behaviour, but will be written from a tax compliance perspective rather than accounting professional. HMRC is raising market awareness of the opportunity and procurement approach for an Open Procedure for an End Point Assessor. At the time of the Contract Notice Issuance, potential bidders will have to meet the criteria mentioned in the Education Skills Funding Agency’s (ESFA) Conditions for organisations on the register of end-point assessment organisations.
