Tender description

Appointment of an Architect Led Design Team for the delivery of the design of the Bio-Therapeutics Hub for Innovation (the Hub). The Hub is a 12.5 million GBP construction project to accelerate growth and build on the strengths of the Life Sciences cluster in the North East of Scotland. Appointment of an Architect Led Design Team for the delivery of the design of the Bio-Therapeutics Hub for Innovation (the Hub). The Hub is a 12.5 million GBP construction project to accelerate growth and build on the strengths of the Life Sciences cluster in the North East of Scotland. The Hub will be developed on a site at Foresterhill Hospital Campus in Aberdeen. The Architect Led Design Team will be required to provide the following design services: Architect/ Lead Consultant, Landscape Architecture, Civil/Structural Engineer, Mechanical Electrical Plumbing (MEP) and Services Engineer, Fire Engineer, Acoustic Engineer and Environmental Consultant in relation to the design, construction and fit-out of the Hub. Whilst the proposed project relates to the construction of a shell building with basic fit-out to accommodate office and laboratory services the design team will be required to ensure services and circulation are in place which is sufficiently flexible for specialist labs, manufacturing and office use.
