Tender description

The Northern Lighthouse Board (NLB) require dry dock Facilities for NLV Pole Star to meet the Classification Society/Flag state requirements and for re-issue of certification. Estimate timescales are nineteen (19) days for dry dock works, services will be provided by the dry dock facility, access will be required for NLB staff and appointed contractors. Major planned works include the replacement of all thruster bearings, a life extension to the sewage plant and one main engine overhaul. Dry Dock facilities are required between 3-21.9.2018 and a lay-by berth between 1-3.9.2018 and 21-29.9.2018. Estimated timescales is nineteen (19) days for dry dock works, access will be required for NLB staff and appointed contractors to complete various maintenance requirements. Main works are replacement of all thruster bearings, a life extension to the sewage plant and one main engine major overhaul. Dry Dock requirements are from 3 to the 21.9.2018 with a lay-by Beth from 1 to 3 September and 21 to 29.9.2018.
