Tender description

The National Crime Agency requires the provision of transcription services of predominantly audio and possibly some visually recorded material. This material may be, but is not limited to, interviews of victims and witnesses interviewed as part of a criminal investigation. The NCA requires: — a transcription service from audio and visually recorded media, — production of a transcription to be in accordance with NCA security parameters, — maintenance of auditable records for the receipt, secure storage and return of recordings, — data in transit and at rest may be in the UK only. Due to the nature of this procurement, the Service Providers must be located in the UK. All staff working on this contract must undergo the HMG requirements in respect of the Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) and must hold or be prepared to undertake SC Enhanced (SC E) Level security clearance. The NCA is looking to put in place a 6 year contract, comprised of a fixed 4 year period and 2 x 1 year options (4 + 1 + 1). The NCA will be looking for suppliers that can deliver English Audio Transcription and Video Transcription services on secure premises (both NCA and Client sites). This will be outlined at the supplier day and in more detail in the statement of requirement that will be submitted in the Invitation to Tender.
