Tender description
Nottingham City Homes wants to enhance the safety of customers in their homes is the installation of sprinkler systems to communal and individual homes brining our buildings in line with BS 9251. NCH is to deliver fire sprinkler systems to over 1 300 properties across 8 high rise blocks. We require materials to allow us to install CPVC plastic piped sprinkler systems compliant to BS 9251.The Contract is being procured by Nottingham City Homes for a period of 2 years with an optional extension period up to 3 years, and it is envisaged that it will commence August 2018. Nottingham City Homes are embarking on a significant project to improve the safety of our customers that live in blocks of multiple occupants. The main element to enhance the safety of customers in their homes is the installation of sprinkler systems to communal and individual homes brining our buildings in line with BS 9251. The Construction, Repairs and Maintenance section of the NCH business is to deliver fire sprinkler systems to over 1,300 properties across 8 high rise blocks. We require materials to allow us to install CPVC plastic piped sprinkler systems compliant to BS 9251.This will include: — Pipe, Couplings, Unions, Elbows, etc, — Bracketry, — Adhesive Cement, — Sprinkler Assemblies, — Residential Riser Assemblies. The sprinkler systems and associated materials will be delivered to Nottingham City Homes, Harvey Road Depot and/or alternative sites across Nottingham (advised on PO) as and when required. The Contract is being procured by Nottingham City Homes for a period of 2 years with an optional extension period up to 3 years, and it is envisaged that it will commence August 2018. Pricing must remain firm and fixed for the duration of the contract and must not be subject to any variation. Supplier must understand that predicting volumes and overall values for work is difficult and no guarantee is given regarding continuity or overall value and supplier will, therefore, not be entitled to claim for loss of profit, or any other costs resulting from an alteration in the scope or volume.
