Sheffield Hallam University is offering an Invitation to Tender for a service agreement to provide a comprehensive range of funding and strategic bid development support and consultancy services to academic staff across the University. The University has a 2 year fixed term requirement but subject to a successful review could be extended, for the provision of specialist funding bid and strategic development consultancy services to support the further growth of research and development of partner collaborations alongside the submission of grant and funding applications to bodies such as UKRI, NIHR, IUK, EU, and other reputable funding bodies. The requirement is for the successful party to support these funding bid development and submission activities, along with helping to build collaborations, to develop a sustainable and high quality programme of research and knowledge exchange. This tender specification is offered as an invitation to tender for a service agreement with Sheffield Hallam University to provide a comprehensive range of funding and strategic bid development support and consultancy services to academic staff across the University, in line with the Creating Knowledge Implementation Plan (CKIP), to build research capacity, grow research and knowledge exchange income alongside supporting related external collaborative opportunities. The external policy drivers are the UK's Industrial Strategy evolving at the national and local levels, the creation of the UKRI, its strategic prospectus and programmes. In addition applicants should be aware of developments and opportunities that could be presented by the successor to Horizon 2020 and ESIF as the UK leaves the EU.
