Tender description

This Notice is issued for the purpose of transparency only, and University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (“the Trust”) does not consider itself bound by the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 in relation to the award of the subcontract to which it relates. This award is made by way of subcontract to Connect Physical Health Centres Limited trading as Connect Health (Connect). The Trust is lead provider under a contract awarded to it by NHS Camden Clinical Commissioning Group (“Camden CCG”) for an integrated MSK service, and Connect was a party to a joint tender (using a lead / subcontractor model) to Camden CCG to provide that service. During that procurement, Camden CCG evaluated the Trust’s tender by assessing it at every level of its proposed supply-chain, including its proposed arrangements for the subcontracting of the relevant elements of the service to Connect. Connect is a leading provider of NHS community physiotherapy and has been the incumbent provider of that service in Camden. The partnership benefits from Connect’s local knowledge and its expertise from services elsewhere. With a track record as an existing provider to the CCG of MSK services, Connect was able to support the bid by demonstrating that it is a suitable partner and that it is able to mobilise to provide the services within the tight timescales demanded by the tender.
