Tender description

As a result of a requirement by the University to repurpose part of Ml block for teaching space, including the those rooms that make up one of City Campus' data centres, there is a requirement to undertake a cloud candidacy assessment of the services that are running in that data centre. The output from this assessment will identify what options UoW then has in terms of relocating the services running in that data centre. The work itself is broken into three distinct stages: Discovery: collation of data relating to infrastructure, applications and costs. Analysis: the analysis of the data collated during the Discovery phase. Delivery: this output will encompass a Business Case, Target Architecture options, Essential Metric Collection, and details of Cloud Candidacy for the services running in the Ml data centre.
