Tender description

SES Water requires legal services to support in the production, negotiation and development of agreements in accordance with legislative requirements. The legal services will be in 2 lots: — 1 Corporate and commercial legal services, — 2 Water industry and regulatory services. Legal services to cover: commercial law, property law, planning law, employment law, financing law. A) Environmental law and Industry regulations: 1) advice on the Water Industry Act (1991), the powers and duties of Ofwat, the Environment Agency, the Consumer Council for Water and other regulatory bodies within the industry; 2) environmental Law — providing advice on regulatory requirements, pre-empting investigations made by authorities or other regulatory bodies.
