Tender description

Birmingham City Council wishes to establish a Framework Agreement for the provision of Occupational Health Professional Service providers to support the Councils Employee Occupational Health and Wellbeing team (EOHW Team) in protecting the health of the Council's employees and supporting the delivery of high quality services to the citizens of Birmingham. The Framework Agreement will be for a period of 4 years. Qualified Occupational Health Physicians to support employees within an occupational health arena to include clinical assessment of employees, producing reports, work adjustment, restrictions, and recommendations working within ethical and confidential processes. Qualified Taxi Medical Doctors to assess the health of Taxi drivers producing reports according to DVLA Guidelines. To attend any appeal panel requests if drivers dispute decisions. Occupational Health Advisors to act as an expert OH resource for the business via OH helpline and email when required and OH staff offering clinical support and advice when required. Physiotherapists to support employees within an occupational health arena. Cognitive Behavioral Therapists to provide short term 6 session model of psychological therapy to reduce the effects of psychological distress on employees according to the established referral criteria. Occupational Health Technician to provide a support role within the OHW service.
