Tender description

Arden and GEM CSU, acting on behalf of the NHS England (Health and Justice, West Midlands), invites suitably qualified and experienced healthcare service providers to attend the Market Engagement event for Liaison and Diversion services for the Herefordshire Shropshire and Telford and Wrekin regions .It is NHS England’s intention to split this procurement exercise into 3 lots (Herefordshire, Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin) but this will be finalised prior to the ITT being published. The contract period will be from 1.4.2019 to 31.3.2021, with a possible extension for a further 12 months. The estimated total contract value (excluding mobilisation Costs) is 1 630 754 GBP to be split between the 3 regions. A Market Engagement Event is to take place on 29.6.2018 (10:00 am to 12:00 noon) at West Mercia Police Headquarters, Hindlip Hall, Hindlip, Worcester, WR3 8SP. The deadline to register you interest via the Bravo e-tendering system is 12:00 noon on 27.6.2018. The service provision will cater for vulnerable individuals of all ages in the offender pathway and help to inform subsequent decisions, about where an individual is best placed to receive treatment, taking into account public safety, safety of the individual and punishment of the offence. Lot 1 is specifically for this service in the Herefordshire area and is a new service for this region. For this service provision, Arden and GEM CSU would like to encourage innovative solutions including strategic alliances which will deliver value for money and improved services to patients. The service providers will be required to deliver an outcome based high quality and integrated L and D service operating at various points of the criminal justice pathway including police custody, courts and the community within the stated areas and across the Police Force footprint. The L and D service is expected to include provision of listed features, services, and coordination amongst these.
