Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire Councils require the provision of Skills Development, Training and Employability Services for adults with disabilities. who need support to undertake these activities, including adults with a learning disability, physical disability or mental ill health. These services provide people with opportunities for continuous learning and development and support them to maximise independence and achieve personal outcomes. They provide support to develop the skills required to engage in meaningful activity and move on to paid work, volunteering opportunities or community based activities, where appropriate. Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire Councils require the provision of Skills Development, Training and Employability services for individual adult residents who need support to undertake these activities. These services provide people with opportunities for continuous learning and development and support them to maximise independence and achieve personal outcomes. The services provide support to develop the skills required to engage in meaningful activity and move on to paid work, volunteering opportunities or community based activities, where appropriate. The services provided under this framework may provide one, all, or a combination of elements of Skills Development, Training and Employability Services as defined in the service specification.
