GB-Bristol: Calibration and Repair of Test and Measuring Equipment at Defence Munitions Beith

Tender description

The Defence Munitions Commercial team (The Authority) has a potential future requirement for calibration and repair of electronic test and measuring equipment currently in use at DM Beith, Ayrshire. The requirement is to provide a routine calibration of all the equipment on at least an annual basis but with some equipment requiring additional calibration and/or repair. A full schedule will be provided with the Invitation to Tender (ITT) pack. These calibrations may require the provision of a UKAS certificate when requested by the Authority which the Supplier must be able to provide with traceability to BS EN ISO IEC 17025. The requirement will be for a 3-year contract, with two optional extension years. Please contact the Authority (edward.bulpitt100@mod.go.uk) with any expressions of interest by 12:00 on 25/06/2018. ITT packs will only be issued to Suppliers who have expressed an interest before this deadline. The competition for this requirement will be limited to a maximum of ten (10) Bidders. The Authority reserves the right to ask additional, pre-qualification questions to any Bidder who has expressed an interest, prior to ITT release.
