Washington District Heating Scheme Maintenance Contract

Tender description

This contract covers the repair, maintenance, servicing and emergency attendance to gas boiler houses, plant, equipment and services that feed hot water heating to each individual flat or house in the designated area together with the items of equipment in each dwelling as indicated in the schedules. Also included, maintenance, repair & associated attendance incl safely exposing, identifying & repairing or renewing as necessary (incl backfilling & making good as necessary) of the district heating pipework that travels from boiler houses either inside the gable end of houses or underground to serve the flats/houses. Each property has a HIU or control pipework & associated components controlling the heating & hot water demand for the resident. Alongside the heating and hot water controls, each property has an energy meter & pre-pay unit that charges the resident on the energy used, this metering equipment & associated remedial works will be carried out by another specialist contractor.
