Swift Vending Machines (SVM)

Tender description

This is an Invitation to Tender (ITT) for the delivery, installation and maintenance of Swift Vending Machines (SVM). Swift offers a wide range of retail options including Travel Shops and a network of independent retailers which allow a customer the ability to obtain a card for the first time. However many of these outlets are only open during traditional shop hours. We know from our very successful online solution that enables customers to top-up their existing Swift cards with PAYG and products that customers welcome the opportunity to access Swift on a 24/7 basis. The initial trial SVM has shown that there is a requirement from customers to be able to access Swift PAYG, products including obtaining a new card over a wide time period. Following the success of the initial SVM trial WMCA is seeking to procure further vending machines. Funding has been identified for between four and six SVMs with the final number to be confirmed after contract award.
