Substance Misuse Market Engagement

Tender description

North Yorkshire County Council is undertaking the re-procurement of the Adult Substance Misuse Service. The current Adult Substance Misuse Service, North Yorkshire Horizons, was commissioned in October 2014 and consists of 2 contracts: - Recovery and Mentoring Service, provided by Change Grow Live (CGL) - Drug and Alcohol Treatment Service, provided by Developing Initiatives Supporting Communities (DISC) The contracts operate as an integrated service with a shared brand, a single point of contact, shared service hubs, shared policies and protocols, and a shared electronic case management system. North Yorkshire County Council wish to re-procure a comparable service to commence on 1st October 2019. The service will continue to be called North Yorkshire Horizons. The intention is to carry out consultation in June and July 2018 including a market testing event on 12th June 2018 ahead of the procurement of a new service to start on 1 October 2019.
