Tender description
The system consists of four main parts: (1) an angle-resolving electron analyser for high-resolution electron spectroscopy, (2) an integrated spin-analysis system for subsequent spin-polarisation analysis, and (3) a fully-functioning and adaptable software suite for performing measurements using the system. The School of physics and astronomy is seeking to enhance its research and teaching activity through the acquisition of a Spin and Angle resolved photoemission spectrometer. The system consists of four main parts: (1) an angle-resolving electron analyser for high-resolution electron spectroscopy, (2) an integrated spin-analysis system for subsequent spin-polarisation analysis, and (3) a fully-functioning and adaptable software suite for performing measurements using the system. The systems should provide a fully-functioning capability for high-resolution spin-resolved ARPES when combined with a suitable vacuum chamber, pumping and sample manipulation (not part of this tender), and should fulfill the requirements detailed.
