Tender description

South Lanarkshire Council are seeking to tender for the provision and management of the following services: Lot 1: Supported Accommodation with Outreach Support. Lot 2: Outreach Housing Support for Households with Children. Lot 3: Supported and First Stop Emergency Accommodation for individuals and families. To provide a Housing Support service, with Landlord / Housing Management responsibility, to a 31 bedded Supported Accommodation facility for single people / couples with complex and or multiple support needs in the East Kilbride area. In addition, you will provide outreach support for up to 50 individuals with complex support needs in the community at any one time, across the South Lanarkshire area. The Supported Accommodation will be operational 24 hours per day / 7 days per week and will be staffed to operate to full capacity at all times, with at least 2 members of staff on duty in the Supported Accommodation at any time. The service will also provide 24/7 telephone support to Service Users receiving Outreach Support. The service will work with families with complex needs who are affected by homelessness, who are either currently homeless, resettling from homelessness or at risk of homelessness. The service will provide a holistic, client focused floating Housing Support Service that meets the Support needs of families affected by homelessness and who have complex needs. The project will work with 30 families at any one time. To provide a Housing Support service, with Landlord / Housing Management responsibility, to a 30 bedded Supported and First Stop Emergency Accommodation, across 3 standalone bases:-. 1) Supported Accommodation for single people / couples in the Blantyre area; 2) Supported and Emergency First Stop Accommodation for single people / couples in the Hamilton area; 3) Emergency First Stop Accommodation for homeless households with children in the East Kilbride area. The Accommodations will be operational 24 hours per day/7 days per week and will be staffed to operate to full capacity at all times.
