Prior Notice. The council is looking to contract with a provider for the Provision of Sexual Exploitation Support Services for Children and Young Adults. The involves the delivery of services for young people who are at risk of Sexual Exploitation. Sexual exploitation results in children and young adults suffering harm, and causes significant damage to their physical and mental health. Some children and young adults may be supported to recover whilst others may suffer serious life-long difficulties. The overall aim for the service is to reduce the risk of children who have been, or are at risk from being sexually exploited; where CSE is taking place, these children receive comprehensive and specialist support, advice and guidance and are also signposted to the relevant partner agencies.
