PAN1944 - Shipping container

Tender description

Leicester City Council (the Authority) invites quotations for the provision of shipping container(s) including delivery and the fitting of racking in the container. Leicester City Council is committed to where possible encouraging residents to reuse waste and prevent items from entering the waste stream. As part of this we work with a third sector partner LOROS who operate a reuse shop on the site of our Household Waste Recycling Centre at Gypsum Close. This year we are working with them to increase the volume of small electric and electronic goods that they can process, test and sell and to do this we need to provide essential additional storage capacity, through the addition of a new large (20ft by 8ft) shipping container. The proposed contract will be for nine months. We anticipate awarding to multiple Suppliers.
