Tender description

The contract is awarded for an initial term of 2 years with the option to extend for an additional 2 years (2+1+1). The contract will commence on the 1.6.2018 for an initial term of 2 years. Low Vision Service Wales (LVSW) is a Welsh Government funded initiative provided by approximately 180 service accredited practitioners from over 200 community-based optometry practices across the whole of Wales. The scheme is managed and administered centrally through Hywel Dda University Health Board offices in Carmarthenshire. As part of the service, LVSW accredited practitioners may prescribe handheld electronic magnifiers, also known as digital or video magnifiers, to patients where appropriate.
