Tender description

This Contract is for Care and support services at Langley Mews (now known as 15-33 Cecil Court) — Recovery focused supported accommodation (Mental health). The proposed service at Langley Mews (Meadowfield) (now known as 15-33 Cecil Court) consists of a supported accommodation scheme for eighteen adults who present with a range of more complex mental health issues. This opportunity is to provide a recovery focused model. From the perspective of the individual with mental illness, recovery means gaining and retaining hope, understanding of ones abilities and disabilities, engagement in an active life, personal autonomy, social identity, meaning and purpose in life, and a positive sense of self. It is the intention that Durham County Council will commission a recovery focused care service at Langley Mews (now known as 15-33 Cecil Court). This will provide an outcome focused, needs led service which prove to be cost effective. This procurement is issued under an Open OJEU Tender process in line with Public Contracts Regulation 2015, under Regulation 74 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 for contracts for social and other specific services (Light Tough Regime).
