HBC - Artificial Bowling Green - Aberford Park

Tender description

Hertsmere Borough Council is seeking a suitably experienced and qualified contractor to install a new 4 rink flat artificial bowling green in Aberford Park, Aberford Road, Borehamwood, WD6 5HQ. The new bowling green will need to be installed adjacent to Aberford Park Community Centre and this will necessitate other works such as removal of some existing trees, re-location of existing footpath route and one street light to accommodate the new provision. Construction of one side and one end tarmacadam footpath and adjustment of the perimeter security fencing to include new sections along with re-use of existing, plus appropriate drainage. The new bowling green is to open as soon as possible after contract award, contractors will be asked to provide a timetable of works within their submission and will need to demonstrate that they are able to meet an agreed deadline.
