Tender description

The AMRC requires delivery, installation, testing and commissioning of a system to provide high pressure CO2 and MQL coolant to an existing machine, with the outcome of reducing tool wear and/or allowing for more aggressive/faster cuts. The system should be externally connected and should be supplied with its own base. The system should allow the machine to alternate between traditional emulsion through tool coolant and through tool supply of CO2 with minimum intervention. 1927/371/MY/AMRC/18 High Pressure CO2 Coolant System with Minimum Quantity Lubrication Ability The AMRC requires delivery, installation, testing and commissioning of a system to provide high pressure CO2 and MQL coolant to an existing machine, with the outcome of reducing tool wear and/or allowing for more aggressive/faster cuts. The Cooling System shall be fitted onto a Cincinnati H5-800MT Geminex 5-Axis which is currently undergoing an upgrade at the AMRC’s nominated supplier, Machine Tool Technologies Limited (MTT) –at the nominated suppliers premises, and; post testing, acceptance, decommissioning, re-commissioning at Purchasers premises at Catcliffe Rotherham.
