Tender description

The Project involves the provision of Archaeological Consultancy Stage Services (Stage (i)i Geophysical Surveys) for the Foynes to Limerick Road Improvement Scheme. Stage (i)i Geophysical Surveys Services shall be carried out for a total fixed price lump sum, as tendered. Stage (i)i Geophysical Surveys will be undertaken in two phases. Phase I will consist of magnetometer surveys at 44 locations comprising a total area of approximately 70 ha, and resistivity surveys at 14 locations comprising a total area of approximately 10 ha. Pending the results of the Phase I surveys, a second phase of surveys may be instructed by the Client. These Phase II surveys shall consist of further magnetometer surveys (up to 35 ha) and/or resistivity surveys (up to 25 ha).
