Tender description

The Scottish Ministers are seeking to appoint fund managers to deliver microfinance, debt, and equity fund management services for the SME Holding Fund, a Fund-of-Funds which is part financed by the European Regional Development Fund and the 2014-2020 European Structural and Investment Fund Programmes in Scotland). The allocation of funding can be aloocated within the tender documents. The Scottish Government are seeking to appoint a fund manager who will provide lending in the range up to 25 000 to start-ups and SMEs with growth ambitions employing less than 10 staff. We are seeking to appoint a maximum of three fund managers who will provide lending to SMEs with growth and/or export potential in the following ranges: 25 000 — 100 000; and 100 000 — 1 000 000. We are seeking to appoint a maximum of two fund managers who will provide equity investment of 20 000 — 2 000 000 within a deal ceiling of 10 million to SMEs with high growth and export potential.
