Tender description
The café at CRUK/CI is positioned on the ground floor within the public area of the institute and can seat up to 128 with extra seating available in the Atrium and Gallery areas. Since eating is not permitted in laboratories, having a vibrant and social eating space is key to the buildings success. The catering provider will be expected to advertise the café and have innovative ideas for encouraging its usage. The café provides an important space not only for eating but also for socialising and informal meetings. A plan of the café and kitchen areas can be found in Appendix A. Core opening times will be from, 8:30 – 17:00, Monday – Friday, providing hot and cold options for breakfast (Full English breakfast on Fridays), hot and cold options for lunch together with a variety of snacks available throughout the day.
