Tender description

The Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA), an executive agency of DEFRA, requires the supply of Veterinary Field Kits containing a blood sampling system and ADR Compliant sample packaging. APHA require the supply of veterinary field kits containing a blood sampling system and an ADR compliant packaging system for the transport of UN3373 biological substance category B samples. APHA also require the outer packaging transport system to be able to be used for Category A blood samples which may be taken during an outbreak. The packaging transport system must be ADR compliant for the transport of UN2814 or UN2900 category A samples. APHA will order field kits as and when required and there is no guaranteed volume of orders. There will be a requirement for annual storage for an agreed volume of field kits to be held as contingency stock.
