Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA), acting as the Contracting Authority for Greater Manchester Police (GMP), is seeking suppliers to express an interest in this PIN notice for the provision of Air to Ground PPM and Reactive maintenance of the digital video Downlink Ground Based Receiving Equipment. This equipment is used to receive images transmitted from the police aircraft when required for operational and evidential purposes. The contract will cover 3 GMP sites, The supplier will be required to fix the fault on site or the equipment will be removed and returned for repair. Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA), acting as the Contracting Authority for Greater Manchester Police (GMP), has issued this Prior Information Notice (PIN) to advertise this opportunity to the open market and to seek expressions of interest from suppliers that may wish to take part in future associated tenders. As part of the market engagement exercise interested bidders may be invited to present their solution to GMP. This is to allow GMP to explore the market place and gain a better understanding of the market place. Following the expiry of the PIN, a short market engagement questionnaire may be sent out to all parties who expressed an interest, allowing GMP to gather feedback from the market to assist in the specification.
