Tender description

The Etruria Valley Link Road team are tendering service to carry out the duties of a NEC3 ECC Project Manager as defined in the NEC3 ECC form of contract for the delivery of the Etruria Valley Link Road Project. The NEC3 Project Manager will work on behalf of the council through the SCAPE Preconstruction Phase and Construction Phase of the Etruria Valley Link Road Scheme. Establishing a full understanding of the scheme, Contractual arrangements and contracting authority’s responsibilities. The NEC3 Project Manager will work on behalf of the council through the Scape Preconstruction Phase and Construction Phase of the Etruria Valley Link Road Scheme. Establishing a full understanding of the scheme, Contractual arrangements and contracting authority’s responsibilities. Pre-construction. Actively participate in, lead on behalf of and provide support to the City Council throughout the pre-construction phase of the Scape Procure Civil Engineering and Infrastructure process including contributing to as required and the assessment of, but not limited to, the following: — Risk register, including allocation of risk, — Opportunity register, — Programme, — HSE plans, — GPR survey outputs, — Traffic Management plans, — Temporary Works designs. — Contractor’s final submitted offer. — Scape Delivery Agreement. And actively manage the Etruria Valley contract, budget and programme for the delivery of the link road on behalf of the Council. Ensuring the contractor meets contractual obligations, meets programme timeframes, and delivers within budget. Managing any contractual changes and overall management of the contractor. Establishing operational procedures between the City Council and its Consultants and Contractors from the outset ensuring communication channels are identified, structured and reporting procedures in place.
