Tender description

The Council, as Statutory Harbour Authority has a requirement for the supply and emplacement of pontoons atthree locations within Salcombe Harbour. Salcombe Harbour is a small harbour in South Devon which is primarily a recreational and leisure port for smallboats, many of which are berthed alongside existing Walcon 'system 21' pontoons which can be accessed fromthe shore. These are in Batson Creek and Shadycombe Creek. Demand for such berths exceeds supply and itwas recently decided that the number of berths be increased. In addition there are two deep water pontoons atDentridge and the decision has been taken to replace these with new pontoons.
