Tender description
Hampshire County Council is intending to procure a countywide service to provide a range of information, advice and support activities to individuals in a caring role - and to individuals with Dementia (and their carers). Service delivery activities under consideration include: — emergency planning for carers, — Carers advice and information provision, — Specialist dementia advisor services facilitating access to appropriate care, support, information and advice. A market engagement opportunity has been arranged relating to the procurement, details of which are in the section "II 2.14 Additional Information" below. The new service will commence on the 1.4.2019 with an anticipated initial term of 3 years and options to extend for up to 2 years. The Council anticipates running a procurement under the “light touch regime” using a one stage, across 3 lots, to enable new contracts to start from 1.4.2019. The initial contract term for each lot is anticipated to be 3 years, with options to extend at the Council’s discretion for up to 2 years.
