Tender description

Replacement of medical software IT system. Civil Aviation Authority has a requirement to replace a Software System for Aviation Medical Licencing. The main systems that currently support CAA’s Aviation Licencing Medical functionality are legacy bespoke in-house applications (“MARS and AME Online”), that share the same database. The MARS / AME Online (AOL) solutions were originally introduced as a bespoke addition (or bolt on) to CAA’s main licensing system (“PIMS”), which is also a legacy application. Both MARS and AOL also interact with other in-house solutions and databases.
