Clinical Immunology processes approximately 45,000 blood samples per annum and carries out approximately 66,800 autoimmune tests per annum. Auto-antibodies screened in the Autoimmune Section include CCP, PR3, MPO, GBM, dsDNA, ENA screen and if positive ENA profile. These tests make up around 35 800 of the 66 800 autoimmune tests performed. Capacity for an anticipated increase in sample numbers of ~3% and increased test repertoire should be available and the system must be able to cope with this for the duration of the contract. SNBTS requires systems capable of evaluating the current portfolio of tests. This should include the assays, instrumentation and data management software to deliver a final result to The SNBTS information management system(s).
