Automated Platelet Pooling System/s for the Components Laboratory at the National Blood Centre (and MRTC) — Irish Blood Transfusion Service. The primary function of this systems is to: — recover platelets in a semi-automated system, through leucocyte reduction from Whole Blood derived pooled buffy coats suspended in plasma or plasma and additive solution. Provision of 2 TACSI Systems in the NBC Dublin. Provision of 2 TACS Systems in Cork. Supply of disposable sets for the manufacture of Pooled Platelets. Software Upgrade. Maintenance on the systems for the term.
