Tender description

The computer systems and databases that are currently used use to hold our asset registers and asset information are bespoke and disparate systems and although comprehensive are due to lose maintenance support in the near future. To continue to use these systems is high risk as there will e no ongoing support. The funding will enable the acquisition of an integrated asset management system to support life cycle planning of our highway infrastructure. This is fundamental to our asset management approach and will enable us to demonstrate, via the DfT Highways Maintenance Capital Funding Self- Assessment Questionnaire, that we are competent in the management of highway assets in order to ensure we receive 100% of the incentive funding post 2021. Keywords: Asset, Highways, Infrastructure, Lifecycle, software, Management
