In summary, the Goods comprise Long Crawler Hydraulic Excavators (14 tonne and 25 tonne) to be supplied to the Office of Public Works for use on Arterial Drainage Schemes. This public procurement competition will be divided into 3 lots (each a “Lot”) as described below. Each Lot will result in a separate contract. Lot 1: 14 Tonne Standard Duty Long Crawler Hydraulic Excavator with monoboom. Lot 2: 14 Tonne Standard Duty Long Crawler Hydraulic Excavator with Triple Articulated Boom (TAB). Lot 3: 25 Tonne Long-Reach Long Crawler Hydraulic Excavator. Tenderers may tender for 1 or more lots. Tenderers may submit 1 or more offers per lot. 14 Tonne Standard Duty Long Crawler Hydraulic Excavator with Monoboom. The machine shall be a diesel engine powered 14 Tonne Class Standard Duty Long Crawler Hydraulic Excavator. (Zero or reduced tail swing Excavator is not acceptable). 14 Tonne Standard Duty Long Crawler Hydraulic Excavator with Triple Articulated Boom (TAB). The machine shall be a diesel engine powered 14 Tonne Class Standard Duty Long Crawler Hydraulic Excavator. (Zero or reduced tail swing Excavator is not acceptable). 25 Tonne Long-reach Long Crawler Hydraulic Excavator. The machine shall be a diesel engine powered 25 Tonne Class Standard Duty Long Crawler Hydraulic Excavator. (Zero or reduced tail swing Excavator is not acceptable).
