Hire of cranes with operator

Tender description

It is the intention of the London Legacy Development Corporation (“LLDC”) as the Contracting Authority to put in place a contract for the hire of 6 (six) tower cranes, from one supplier, on the CED Project at Stratford Waterfront at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park (“QEOP”). The scope includes (without limitation), the delivery, erection, testing, commissioning, certification, operation (including provision of sufficient operators), inspection, servicing, maintenance and dismantling upon completion of tower cranes in accordance with the scope of works, programme and project requirements, all as more particularly described in the procurement documents. The site comprises four separate buildings in close proximity, with the tower cranes being positioned to service the main lifting requirements of key work package contractors working on these buildings. .The form of contract for the tower cranes appointment will be based on the CPA Model terms and CPA supplementary tower crane terms.
