Tender description

This Enhanced service contract encompasses and enhances the requirements set out in the core contract and those services commissioned by NHS England through the national framework. The services within the contract are: — cardiology Diagnostic Tests and Results Interpretation 12 lead ECG or 24 Hour BP Monitoring, — drug monitoring and prescribing for stable adult patients on oral Disease-Modifying Antirheumatic Drugs (DMARDs) and immunosuppressants, — insulin Initiation for Type II Diabetes Mellitus, — provision of administration of Luteinising Hormone-Releasing Hormone (LHRH) Agonists (aka Gonadotropin-Releasing Hormone (GnRH Analogues), — LTBI – Latent Tuberculosis Infection, — adult Phlebotomy, — patients at risk of developing diabetes, — improving SuCarers *subject to PMS review, — influenza immunization – 65+ patients *subject to PMS review, — influenza immunization – at Risk *subject to PMS review. Direct award to 3 Network providers who will subcontract with GP practices, who hold a registered list size and are considered the single capable providers of this service. The Contracting Authority considers services outlined in the Brent enhanced service offer can only be delivered by practices with a registered list size. It is considered that this contract is suited for delivery within Primary care and due to its nature; no other providers would have the capability to undertake this service.
