Tender description

The purpose of this exercise is, prior to a potential procurement process, to gain an understanding of initial thoughts, appetite and information from potential delivery organisations, regarding a number of issues related to the supply and delivery of internal LED’s. Durham County Council is currently developing an internal LED replacement programme with the aim of replacing existing light fittings with LED energy-efficient, units. Durham County Council intend to standardise LED’s and require a single manufacturer to provide a full electrical design for Durham County Council LED Replacement Plan and to supply the required LED Luminaires direct to the Councils establishments. The Council makes no guarantee to any member of the Framework that they will be awarded any contract and no guarantee is made in respect of any volume of work under any such agreements, or in aggregate under the proposed Framework Agreement.
